Plastering and screeding
Plastering gives you smooth walls and ceilings ready to paint. Screeding gives you a flat, level floor ready for tiles or flooring. Both are done near the end of a build, and both show if they are done badly.

Questions people ask
How long before I can paint new plaster?
As a rough guide, around one to two weeks. It can take longer in cold or damp weather. When it has dried evenly to a light colour, it is ready for a mist coat. We will tell you what to expect for your rooms.
How long does screed take to dry?
Longer than plaster. As a rough guide, a traditional sand and cement screed dries at about a millimetre a day, so most floors need several weeks before flooring goes down. We will tell you what to expect for your floor.
Will it make a lot of mess?
We cover and protect your home before we start, so nothing gets damaged. When we finish, we clear up safely.
