Loft insulation and ventilation

Questions people ask
Why does my loft need ventilation as well as insulation?
Warm, damp air from your home rises into the loft. If it cannot escape, it can turn into condensation on the cold roof timbers. That can lead to damp and mould. Insulation and airflow need to work together.
How do I know if my loft insulation is good enough?
If your insulation looks thin, squashed or patchy, or the rooms upstairs feel cold, it is worth having it checked. We can look at it for you.
How long does it take?
Every project is different. The time it takes depends on the size of the job, where it is and other things. We give you a timeline with your quote. We are flexible and put your timeline first.
Do I need to clear my loft first?
It depends on the size of your loft and how easy it is to get into. We will tell you when we visit.
